Festival čokolády v Táboře přináší spoustu novinek, rozšíření prostor i programu a oživení Starého města.

3. ročník prestižního Festivalu čokolády v Táboře nabídne bohatý program pro všechny věkové kategorie a přivítá spousty vzácných a zajímavých hostů. Hlavní program se odehrává v sále hotelu Palcát, ale vstupenky vám platí také do Muzea čokolády a marcipánu v historickém centru. V programu hlavního sálu vystoupí v talk show například majitelé manufaktury Jordi´s z Hradce Králové, významný český sběratel čokoládových obalů Stanislav Krámský, lektorka a cukrářka Lucie Průšová nebo herci Miroslav Šimůnek a Nela Boudová. Budeme také vařit, resp. budou vařit špičkoví mistři v oboru - David Šašek (restaurace CODA Praha), Tomáš Levý (Praha), Ondřej Dvořák (hotel Gold Chotoviny). V prostorách hotelu Palcát návštěvníci najdou čokoládové wellness, čokoládovou "řeku" i kuchyň, ve které se budou vyrábět čokolády a pralinky přímo před vašima očima. Vrcholem programu je jistě módní přehlídka modelů z čokolády.

Pro děti je vyčleněn malý sál s pohádkami, dílnami, kouzelníkem a profesionálním dětským koutkem. Děti do 140 cm mají vstup zdarma.

A chcete-li si užít naplno i uličky Starého města, pak můžete procházku směrovat od čokolády k čokoládě, protože ve vybraných podnicích jsou připraveny volné degustace čokolády a rumu, kávy, portského, nebo sladkých vín. V muzeu čokolády budou na programu zážitkové kurzy a v kavárně COffee und Tee přednášky a degustace Jordi´s či čokoládových lanýžů.

V rámci festivalu proběhne také druhý ročník soutěže SACHR DORT ROKU 2016.

Festival čokolády obsadil v soutěži Czech Event Awards 2016 druhé místo v kategorii festivaly.
